This is a nice example of a counter-stamp from a state other than Missouri! The individual ground this token down flat in order to add the words “CLEM SEARS” to one side. I’d sure like to have one of these in *my* collection!

This is a pair of pictures that I’ve lost track on who the person was who provided them to me. It is indeed a neat and unusual piece. I do no thave one myself, nor have I actually ever seen one. If the person who owns this token happens to read this post, I would certainly like your name so that you can receive credit when the Identification and Price Guide is finished (hopefully) later this year.
